ShieldMatrix Security is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Kyle Pollard, Founder and CEO, does the technical work along with his staff. We are not an MSSP and we do not certify you. Path is a free thirty-minute assessment, then a paid Readiness Snapshot, then optional quoted follow-on work.
1. Free 30-minute assessment
Price: Free
What you get: A scope sniff, a fit check, and a clear go or no-go.
Next: Book a Readiness Snapshot, or we close with no invoice.
2. Cybersecurity Readiness Snapshot
Price: Fixed. Typically $2–4k, quoted after the free call.
Duration: About one week.
What you get: A scoped picture of people, tech, and providers. A control-by-control gap view (CMMC Level 1 when FCI is the issue, or NIST CSF / a focused 800-171 slice when it is CUI or general hygiene). Prioritized findings. A thirty-day list you can actually run. A thirty-minute readout with the owner. Nothing leaves without your say-so.
This is a readiness picture plus a fix-first roadmap — not a certification.
Next: You run the list yourself, or we quote a fix project, or we quote a retainer.
3. Gap analysis / fix project
Price: Quoted
Duration: About 2–6 weeks
What you get: We close the high-priority gaps and leave you an evidence pack.
Next: Retainer, or done.
4. Monthly retainer
Price: Quoted monthly
What you get: Evidence upkeep, help through the next self-assessment cycle, and light monitoring. Not a 24/7 SOC.
